If someone wishes for good health, one must first ask oneself if he is ready to do away with the reasons for his illness.

Only then is it possible to help him.

FAQ's

Do you accept insurance?

We do not accept insurance. We are considered an “out of network provider”. The insurance model dictates the services that can be performed and the time spent with each patient, greatly impacting the quality of your time and ultimately the care and outcomes you receive. We believe that this standard health care model does not allow us to practice to the full extent in which needs to provide you with what you need for you health and healing. Some labs and imaging may be covered, if YOU submit it to your insurance company but there are no guarantees. QBO and/or Dr. Whitney Donohue are not responsible for this coverage, as it is between you and your insurance carrier.

What to Expect During Your First Visit?

During your consultation, we’ll listen to your concerns and make sure we are a great fit to help you. We’ll review any recent imaging, labs or other pertinent information. Your symptoms and concerns are real and deserve our full attention. That’s why our physicians take the time to hear you out. Only then do we develop a treatment plan customized specifically to your needs and goals, as well as a timeline to set realistic expectations for reaching them.

Why don’t you treat on the first visit?

We don’t teat on the first visit for a number of reasons. The first visit is truly about you, your health goals and creating a great relationship and building this team. We spend 60+ mins together deep diving into what makes you thrive as a human. The first visit we are still both figuring out if this is the best path for both of us. Also, if any other investigations are needed such as labs, imaging or specialty referrals are needed and need to be completed and thoroughly examined before treatment can start.

How many visits will I need?

This depends on the complexity of your pain & injury. Healing is a process and we aim to get you pain free and moving again as quickly and safely as possible. The goal here is to not just get you out of pain as quickly as possible but also to heal you, so that you can move forward with your life with improved, optimized health while becoming pain free. Healing does take time but when the goal is to eliminate pain for good, patience is required. We do not plan on seeing you forever, the team effort here is to provide you the tools & knowledge to move forward, eliminate the pain so you can move on with your active life, pain free!

Can Dr. Whitney be my Primary Care Physician?

No, Dr. Whitney does not function as a primary care provider. It is recommended that you have a Primary Care Physician for regular screening exams and sick visits. We are happy to work alongside of them as a consultant when necessary.

***Please aim to be at least 10 mins early as both your time & my time is valuable and we want to get the most out of your visit.
